Responsibilities
  • Lead and support end-to-end Deployment of 340B split-billing software (e.g., third-party administrator platforms) for new and existing covered entities, including build, configuration, and testing.
  • Serve as lead analyst on the most complex or highest-visibility Deployments, and provide guidance to other analysts on best practices, troubleshooting approaches, and configuration standards.
  • Configure and validate 340B eligibility logic, including qualifying patient definitions, location and provider mapping, and prescriber/visit data feeds.
  • Coordinate onboarding of contract pharmacy arrangements, including data feed setup, claims matching logic, and replenishment configuration.
  • Analyze pharmacy, medical claims, and eligibility data to identify discrepancies, data gaps, or configuration errors, and work with data/IT teams to resolve them.
  • Support 340B program compliance activities, including self-audits, HRSA audit preparation, and manufacturer audit response, by compiling and organizing requested documentation.
  • Document Deployment workflows, configuration decisions, and standard operating procedures for internal knowledge management.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point and senior client-facing resource for assigned covered entities, including during high-stakes go-lives or complex issue resolution, responding to questions on program mechanics, timelines, and data requirements.
  • Monitor post-Deployment performance, including capture rates and data feed accuracy, and recommend adjustments to improve program integrity.
  • Stay current on HRSA guidance, 340B Program policy releases, and industry best practices; communicate relevant changes to internal teams and clients, and serve as an internal resource/trainer on policy changes for junior team members.
  • Identify recurring Deployment issues or process gaps and recommend improvements to standard operating procedures, tools, or team workflows.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of Deployment activity, configuration files, and client communications in accordance with company and HIPAA data handling policies.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy operations, compliance, contracting, and account management teams to support a smooth client experience.
  • Escalate issues touching clinical decision-making, dispensing logic, or patient safety to appropriate clinical or compliance staff rather than resolving independently and ensure compliance with VytlOne Business Code of Conduct, as well as other company policies and procedure. Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
  • Comply with VytlOne’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and VytlOne’s Compliance Program.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, pharmacy, business, health informatics, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or 340B-specific certification (e.g., Apexus 340B ACE or ADR) preferred, or willingness to obtain within a defined period.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in 340B program administration, pharmacy operations, healthcare data analysis, or a related pharmacy/revenue cycle field. Demonstrated experience independently leading end-to-end TPA/split-billing Deployments, including at least one full program build from contracting through go-live, is required.

  • Direct experience with 340B split-billing/TPA software (e.g., common third-party administrator platforms) strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with covered entities, contract pharmacies, or 340B compliance activities preferred.

  • Understanding of pharmacy claims processing, NDC/HCPCS coding, and healthcare data structures (837, NCPDP, or similar formats) preferred.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security requirements and safe handling of protected health information (PHI).

  • General understanding of covered entity types (e.g., hospitals, FQHCs, Ryan White grantees) and their program-specific nuances is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret claims and eligibility data and identify root causes of discrepancies.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas) and other Microsoft 365 tools; comfort learning specialized 340B software platforms.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple Deployment projects and deadlines concurrently.

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fully remote environment, while knowing when to escalate clinical, legal, or compliance questions to the appropriate team.

  • Collaborative, service-oriented approach to working with internal teams and external covered entity clients.

  • Discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to independently lead the most complex or highest-risk Deployments (e.g., multi-site health systems, novel TPA configurations) with minimal oversight.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
