Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC
Create, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality, drive process yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolve manufacturing line problems. Identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or the SPC/FDC methodology. Coordinate and carry out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities, handle new process baseline qualifications and manage, audit and collaborate with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives. Supervise the health of their assigned processes, ensure highquality output, and provide proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that could impact Fab cycle time (CT) or turns.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires:
1. Process area knowledge in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or physical vapor deposition (PVD)
2. Semiconductor Device development and Fabrication
3. Automation through previous automation projects requiring coding, machine learning, and JMP Scripting
4. Process flow related to area equipment, SPC principles, and recipe management
5. Physics, area chemistry, and algebraic concepts
