The Opportunity...
Our Media Buying team manages $10mm+ in monthly ad spend for many Fortune 500 brands in the home services, B2B, coupon, and consumer markets and is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated copywriter to assist in testing new ad copy across our portfolio of accounts. Our programs vary from lead gen to providing end-to-end customer acquisition services through our owned and operated call center, but all are on pay-for-performance models. Our portfolio is growing, and our Media Buyers need help with consistent ad copy testing to increase CTR, ad relevance, and expected CTR quality scores.
How You’ll Contribute...
- Write performance driven, engaging direct response ad copy to attract our target audiences
- Collaborate with our media buyers to create and test ad copy targeted to increase quality scores of specific keywords within our Google and Bing Ads accounts
- Work with the team in using data and performance insights to determine successful copy and drive future tests
- Vary language and tone to create error-free content which adheres to the style and content guides of our many clients
- Partner with our legal team to ensure all copy is reviewed and follows any legal requirements necessary
- Simultaneously manage multiple short-term projects across our different teams while ensuring deliverables are achieved in a timely manner
- Stay up to date on digital ad trends and competitive research in order to develop strategic testing plans
- Collect and organize test results maintaining a library of best practices
What We’re Looking For...
- BA degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related area
- 1+ years of copywriting experience
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills
- Team player with the ability to work effectively across a variety of cross-functional teams
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads/Facebook Ads/paid advertising is a plus but not required
- Spanish language skills are a plus
