You may have noticed that our headquarters are in Boise, ID, but our workforce is fully remote in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Seasonal Photo and Social Video Specialist to join our team, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM ET. This role is perfect for a dynamic, digital-media-savvy, and self-motivated product content creator who can adapt quickly to KCL’s fast-paced needs. You’ll spend your mornings on field trips to various retailers and restaurants, capturing in-store product photography and social video that support KCL deals across our website, app, email, and social channels. Afternoons are dedicated to editing clips in CapCut, turning your morning footage into polished, engaging social content. The ideal candidate is skilled at visually illustrating money-saving tips, bringing clarity, creativity, and impact to every piece of content.
In this role you will:
- Capture and edit high-quality in-store product photography to support deals content across website, mobile web, app, social, and other owned channels.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and CapCut for both photo and video editing.
- Actively scout in-store for new products and standout deals, taking initiative to photograph and film compelling content.
- Collaborate with writers and editors, clearly communicating enthusiasm and insights to enhance storytelling.
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly as business needs evolve.
- Deliver rapid-turnaround content that aligns with emerging trends, hot deals, and timely opportunities.
- Communicate effectively and professionally using Google Meet, Asana, Slack, and email.
About you:
- Strong foundation in photography and design principles
- Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop
- Experienced in CapCut video editing
- Experienced with both iPhone and DSLR photography
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and personable
- Passion for deal content, e-commerce, and smart shopping.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
