About the Role:

 

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for researching companies that fit our ideal customer profile (ICP), identifying key decision-makers based on our buyer personas, multi-channel cold outreach to selected prospects in an effort to secure qualified sales meetings.

 

The SDR will also selectively assist in moving sales-qualified leads through the sales funnel as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying key influencers and decision-makers within the senior management and executive teams of prospective accounts, identifying current processes and challenges, and effectively communicating the value proposition of the Boast software solution.

 

  

What You’ll Do:

      Achieve monthly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) targets

      Identify, qualify, and convert prospective customers into initial sales meetings with the goal of converting the prospect into SQLs

      Leverage outbound sales enablement tools and CRM to ensure a disciplined and efficient process for acquiring potential new prospects

      Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services

      Collaborate with sales executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are met

      Take accurate and detailed notes on the prospect to ensure a smooth handoff to the sales executives

      Develop a thorough understanding of, and stay up to date with, the R&D tax credit industry

      Develop a clear understanding of Boast’s value proposition and how it solves the challenges that many of our customers face

      Provide feedback on outcomes and incremental needs to increase volume and velocity of SQLs in the pipeline

 

Basic Qualifications:

      Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience including 1+ years of sales experience in SaaS, IoT, software, or applicable fields

      Demonstrated “coachability” with a hunger to learn and succeed

      Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling/emailing companies

      Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets or goals using a consultative, solutions-focused approach

      Driven to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction

 

Preferred Qualifications:

      Ability to work with technology, product, and internal business owners to ensure alignment in the sales prospecting process

      Must be willing to work remotely or from home

      Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others

      Strong analytical skills

      Experience using Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, and other relevant tools

      Superior telephone etiquette, communication, time management, and presentation skills

      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

      Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

      Creative, has initiative, wants to learn and succeed
