Modivcare is looking for an experienced SDET III to join our team. This position is responsible for developing software solutions to test applications and systems to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality.

This role…

  • Develops and maintains automated test scripts and advanced frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across various platforms.

  • Develops and implements test strategies for complex software applications, incorporating multiple testing types.

  • Mentors junior team members, providing guidance on automation frameworks, best practices, and methodologies.

  • Oversees one or more testing platforms and collaborates with software developers to identify and resolve defects.

  • Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

  • Reviews system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business needs.

  • Executes manual and automated test cases, analyzes results, and documents findings.

  • Performs thorough regression testing and ensures proper defect tracking.

  • Works with DevOps teams to enhance automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

  • Evaluates new testing tools and technologies, and contributes to process improvements.

  • Coordinates with globally distributed teams and may participate in additional projects as assigned.

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.

  • Five (5) plus years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar role.

  • Proven experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and software development/testing practices.

  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Experience designing and building automation frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

  • Experience with mobile, API, and database testing is a plus.

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Ability to mentor junior team members and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary: $97,200-133,700

This role is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
