A day in the life.

As a SCRUM Master on the MMA Application Development team, you lead the implementation of Agile methodologies and facilitate collaboration within the team. You prioritize requirements and guide the team through sprint planning and backlog grooming. You foster continuous improvement and coordinate cross-functional teams. Your analytical skills help identify and address obstacles, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality applications. Overall, as a SCRUM Master, you play a vital role in promoting collaboration, efficiency, and adherence to MMA's technology standards.

  • Facilitate the implementation and adherence to Agile methodologies within the team.

  • Guide the team through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other Agile ceremonies.

  • Remove obstacles and blockers that hinder the team's progress.

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.

  • Ensure the team has a clear understanding of project goals and priorities.

  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.

  • Act as a servant leader, supporting the team's needs and facilitating their success.

  • Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution within the team.

  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

  • Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, managing expectations and providing updates.

  • Advocate for the team's needs and ensure a productive and positive work environment.

  • Continuously assess and improve team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related degree, or relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of product and or business analyst experience.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $70,930-124,215. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. 

We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other wellbeing programs as well as employee assistance programs.
