Position: Scrum Master / Agile Coach – SAFe | CSM | Multi-Team Coordination

About the role:  As a Scrum Master or Agile Coach at Navaide, you’ll play a critical role in guiding cross-functional teams toward agile maturity, velocity, and mission success. You will facilitate Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid agile ceremonies and practices across multiple teams and coach stakeholders at all levels to foster a high-performing agile delivery environment.

How You Will Make an Impact: Your leadership will empower delivery teams working on innovative technology solutions for federal and defense clients. By promoting transparency, continuous improvement, and team alignment, you will ensure consistent delivery of high-value outcomes aligned with client goals.

Relevant Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in agile roles (Scrum Master, Agile Coach, RTE, or Product Owner)
  • Proven experience leading agile ceremonies and applying Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid agile frameworks
  • Strong multi-team or enterprise-level agile coordination experience
  • Ability to facilitate retrospectives, sprint planning, and system demos with clarity and engagement
  • Skilled in coaching teams and leadership on agile principles, servant leadership, and team empowerment
  • Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro, or similar agile management tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Guide agile teams through all phases of the Scrum or SAFe lifecycle
  • Remove impediments and foster team autonomy, trust, and ownership
  • Coach Product Owners and teams on backlog refinement and prioritization
  • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning, team synchronization, and Agile Release Train (ART) coordination
  • Identify and address organizational barriers to agile transformation
  • Promote a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and iterative delivery
  • Support change management and stakeholder alignment across business and technical units
Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to receive a DoD security clearance.

Travel:

Occasional travel may be required (<25%).

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
