As a Scrum Master 2, you will play a key role in fostering the adoption and approach using Scrum methodologies, advocating for its principles and practices across the teams and product. You will guide the teams in adopting and fully utilizing the Scrum framework, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and promoting collaboration across teams and products to optimize workflow.

As a servant leader, you will coach the team to self-organize, reach their goals, and drive continuous incremental improvements. Additional focus will be on coaching the team to continually improve and deliver value efficiently within 2-week Sprint cycles.

What You Will Do

  • Working with infrastructure teams  and product you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint refinement, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Identify and remove roadblocks that are hindering the team’s ability to deliver service.
  • The Scrum Master helps the Product Owner make decisions by ensuring that the team is focused on the most important and valuable work.
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback cycles.
  • Communicate Initiative status, risks and issues to the team and product leadership.
  • Develop and track KPI’s to help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
  • Working knowledge of Jira and JQL with the ability to leverage the tools to work toward improvements.
  • Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.

What You Will Need

  • You must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach for Infrastructure and/or Development Teams, consistently applying Scrum methodologies, its principles and practices.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, enabling you to foster a collaborative and positive team environment. Your ability to connect with individuals, understand their needs, and create trust is key to building effective, high-performing teams.
  • With a deep understanding of servant leadership, you prioritize the growth and well-being of your team members, empowering them to reach their full potential. By providing guidance, you help create an environment where individuals feel valued, motivated, and equipped to achieve individual, team and product goals.
  • You champion open communication and transparency, building strong relationships across teams, product owners, and stakeholders. By managing expectations and promoting trust, you ensure everyone has the information needed to contribute to achieving business goals and delivering exceptional results.
  • You bring practical experience and a solid understanding of various Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and are well-versed in applying these approaches to optimize team performance and service delivery. Additionally, you are familiar with Scaled Agile Frameworks including SAFe, LeSS, and Nexus and have used them to drive cross-product alignment.
  • You have hands-on experience with techniques like User Story Mapping and Value Stream Mapping to prioritize features, map workflows, and visualize customer journeys. You break down complex projects into manageable user stories, ensuring focus on customer value, and identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the flow from inception to delivery.
  • By maintaining a forward-thinking mindset, you proactively anticipate challenges and address them early, coaching teams to develop thoughtful solutions. By guiding problem-solving and encouraging innovation, you ensure improvements are both preventative and effective.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$106,900.00 - $142,200.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
