About the Role (NYC or LA)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive communicator who’s passionate about supporting producers and helping artists bring creative visions to life. The Scheduler role is perfect for someone ready to own scheduling across multiple projects and teams — balancing priorities, anticipating conflicts, and working closely with talent, production, and creative teams. Our fast-paced environment needs someone with strong problem-solving skills and a natural drive to improve workflows and manage artists effectively.

This role can be based at our studio in NYC or LA. It is not fully remote.

Responsibilities
  • A primary focus on scheduling and allocation of internal resources (staff and booked freelancers)
  • Proactively anticipate project needs to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming projects
  • Maximize artist efficiency and minimize their burnout so they have an exemplary experience
  • Work across our LA and NY studios
  • Lead production meetings
  • Maintain/update talent database, on-boarding and off-boarding app, and studio-wide project board/schedule
  • Form strong relationships with artists, producers, and directors
  • Support HR with weekly timesheet reviews
  • Reporting to Executive Producers and Heads of Production
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years prior experience in post-production talent management and/or production preferred
  • Confident communicating with a wide range of people by email, phone, and in person — always in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and a driven self-starter
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Availability to work from our studios Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and from home Monday and Friday.

Salary

Brand New School attracts a team with unique skillsets and varying levels of experience. Therefore, the salary range provided is broad and will be refined during the interview process.
