The SCADA, Telecom and Cybersecurity Engineering Manager leads direct reports, supervises and coordinates design team, as well as serves as a technical referent for the team. NAM GSI encompasses ACS, FACTS, Service and HVDC Segments.
The SCADA, Telecom and Cybersecurity Engineering Manager reports to the P&C Department Senior Engineering Manager and participates and/or lead annual performance feedback, communication, training and personal development plans for his team. For Projects, the SCADA, Telecom and Cybersecurity Engineering Manager assists lead engineers at project launching phase, controls engineering process follow up, ensures the proper management of interfaces with our partners and main suppliers. The SCADA, Telecom and Cybersecurity Engineering Manager supports development of quality procedures, processes, and organizes knowhow capitalization (lessons learned) and return of experience (RoE) to improve engineering efficiency.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Manages a small to medium team of SCADA, Telecom and cybersecurity engineers. Has specialized knowledge within the function and serves as technical reference for the team. Influences the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources.
Ensures his/her team maintains compliance with Company BMS procedure covering Engineering Management Handbook (EMH) including but not limited to scheduling of design gate reviews, recording of lessons learned / ROE and compliance with industry standards, applicable state and federal safety codes, regulatory compliance requirements and construction codes to projects
Ensure coordination with GSI Cybersecurity central team for the development and implementation of standard process for Cybersecurity activities on projects.
Proposes and develops actions to improve processes, using feedback from the team and is responsible for team engagement.
Participates to the definition of personal development actions for the members of his team and ensures follow up.
Supervises development of high-quality design templates and tools to support the secondary design engineering team and the business.
May be part of a project team for small to medium size projects with limited risks, and/or complexities.
Supports the P&C Senior Engineering Manager to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
Understands internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services in his area of expertise.
Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on specific topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
Promotes and drives use of GEC Noida teams
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years' experience in SCADA, telecom and/or cybersecurity engineering
Demonstrated experience in project engineering management
Demonstrated experience in team management
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $111,200.00 and $185,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
