Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SuccessFactors & Payroll Technical Architect with proven expertise in SuccessFactors HXM, SAP Payroll (ECP/ECC), S/4 HANA, Time Management, and Workforce Experience (Qualtrics XM or similar platforms). This role requires hands-on leadership in solution architecture, integrations, extensions, and compliance for a large-scale HR transformation program.

Key Responsibilities

· Own the end-to-end technical architecture for SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll (ECP/ECC), Time Tracking, and Workforce Experience solutions.

· Design and manage integrations between SuccessFactors, Payroll, Time, Finance, and 3rd-party apps (Concur, Fieldglass, OpenText, Workforce systems) using SAP CPI, APIs, Integration Center, and middleware.

· Define data models, extension strategy (BTP, Extension Center, IAS/IPS), and metadata framework (MDF).

· Architect and support Payroll integrations including GL postings, ACH files, BSI Tax Factory, garnishments, benefits, and pension feeds.

· Define and implement Time Management & Attendance solutions integrated with SuccessFactors and SAP Payroll.

· Enable Workforce Experience management (Qualtrics XM or similar) including survey integration, feedback analytics, and HR action flows.

· Develop and own Solution Architecture Documents, Integration Design Workbooks, Technical Design Documents, and Security Models.

· Oversee data migration, cutover planning, and reconciliation for HR, payroll, and time data.

· Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness (GDPR, SOC, I-9, wage/hour rules, Davis-Bacon, etc.).

· Provide technical leadership during SIT, UAT, performance testing, and payroll parallel runs.

Required Skills & Experience

· 10+ years in SAP HCM/HRIS, with 5+ years in SAP SuccessFactors architecture and technical leadership.

· Strong technical expertise across SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Compensation, Performance & Goals).

· Proven experience with SAP Payroll (ECP/ECC) – integrations, schemas, rules, BSI, benefits, garnishments, and compliance.

· Hands-on experience with Time Management solutions integrated with Payroll and Workforce Management systems.

· Experience with Workforce Experience / Qualtrics XM integration with SuccessFactors.

· Strong knowledge of SAP BTP extensions, SAP CPI, APIs, Integration Center, MDF, IAS/IPS.

· Deep understanding of RBPs, security, compliance, and audit frameworks.

· Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

SAP SuccessFactors EC certification required; Payroll and Integration certifications a strong plus.
