Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Functional Lead / Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP SD and Vistex Rights & Royalties Management to lead the functional design, implementation, and deployment of SAP OTC capabilities.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary functional lead for the OTC workstream, partnering closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, integration teams, and offshore delivery teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient Order-to-Cash processes.

The successful candidate will lead solution design, business process alignment, testing, deployment, and production stabilization throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Location: Culver City, CA – Onsite
Duration: 6–12+ Months Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onshore functional lead for the SAP OTC workstream throughout the Vistex Rights & Royalties implementation.

  • Lead solution design workshops with business stakeholders to define future-state OTC processes supporting Rights & Royalties operations.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Vistex Rights & Royalties Management.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

  • Lead configuration, functional specifications, testing, and deployment of OTC functionality supporting:

    • Contract Management

    • Rights Licensing

    • Order Management

    • Pricing & Condition Management

    • Customer Management

    • Billing

    • Credit Management

    • Revenue Recognition

  • Collaborate with Business Affairs, Sales, Finance, Participations, Rights Management, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure end-to-end integration across SAP modules.

  • Partner with offshore functional and development teams by providing functional direction, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality execution.

  • Coordinate solution design across SAP SD, FI/CO, RAR, MM, and integration platforms.

  • Lead functional design reviews, defect triage, issue resolution, and change request evaluations.

  • Ensure OTC solutions comply with financial controls, audit requirements, IFRS/GAAP standards, and internal governance policies.

  • Support data conversion, integration testing, UAT, cutover planning, hypercare, and production stabilization.

  • Drive documentation using approved tools and methodologies, including requirements, functional specifications, test scripts, defects, and change management artifacts.

  • Provide leadership during project planning, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.

  • Mentor junior functional analysts and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of SAP Order-to-Cash / SAP SD implementation experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing or managing Vistex Rights & Royalties Management, including functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Proven experience leading OTC functional workstreams on large-scale SAP transformation programs.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash processes, including:

    • Sales Order Management

    • Pricing

    • Billing

    • Credit Management

    • Revenue Recognition

  • Deep understanding of Rights & Royalties business processes, preferably within the Media & Entertainment industry.

  • Experience integrating SAP OTC with Finance, Rights Management, Participations, and related SAP modules.

  • Experience leading requirements workshops and presenting solution designs to business and executive stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience managing onshore/offshore delivery models and coordinating distributed functional teams.

  • Strong experience preparing functional specifications and supporting technical development teams.

  • Experience leading SIT, UAT, defect management, cutover, and hypercare activities.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations, including at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation.

  • Experience working with offshore delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA Sales certification.

  • Experience implementing SAP Vistex Rights & Royalties.

  • Knowledge of SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting).

  • Experience with SAP Fiori applications.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled business process automation and analytics.

  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager / ChaRM.
