As an SAP PP Consultant with Process Paramarsh, you will be considered for project engagements with leading global clients. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Production Planning module, ensuring seamless business processes and logistics operations.
- Configure and support SAP PP module: Demand Management, MRP, Production Orders, Shop Floor Control, Capacity Planning
- Expertise in configuring manufacturing types such as Discrete, Process (PP-PI), and Repetitive manufacturing
- Skills in forecasting, master production scheduling (MPS), and configuring planning strategies
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver SAP PP solutions
- Bring your SAP solutions expertise to business problems and provide options
- Support Material Master, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, and Work Centers
- Write functional specification for custom-code and provide alternatives
- Support end-to-end production processes in Plan-to-Produce value chain
- Run and interpret MRP configuration and resolve MRP related issues
- Integrate SAP PP with MM for procurement of raw materials and issue to production
- Integrate SAP PP with SD for linking sales orders to production
- Integrate SAP PP with QM for in-process and final product inspections
- Integrate SAP PP with FICO for production costing, overhead costing, and variance analysis
- Conduct testing, user training, and system documentation
- Troubleshoot system issues and deliver enhancements
Requirements
- 4+ years of SAP PP consulting experience
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business, computer science or related fields
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP and S/4HANA PP processes and configurations
- Hands-on S/4HANA PP experience
- Knowledge of overall logistics and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of advanced planning features like MRP Live for faster planning runs and Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP)
- Knowledge of production order and process order management, including creation, release, and confirmation
- Integration knowledge with connected non-SAP systems from the one of the following:
- MES: Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell MES, Honeywell MES, Wonderware MES, Dassault MES, etc.
- PLM: Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Autodesk PLM, SAP PLM, etc.
- APS: SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, etc.
- Ability to set up and evaluate capacity requirements to manage resource utilization
- Experience with end-to-end implementations and/or roll-outs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of MS Office (or Google Workspace)
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Ability to adapt in a fast project environment
- Ability to work in teams
- Knowledge of SAP Reporting tools - BW, SAC, DWC, etc. (Nice-to-Have)
- Exposure to SAP Fiori Apps for PP such as Production Order Management, Confirmation, etc.
