Seeking an experienced SAP IBP Solution Architect with expertise in Response and Supply (R&S) Timeseries and Order-Based Planning (OBP) to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of large-scale, complex SAP IBP. This role involves working closely with senior business and IT stakeholders to define business requirements, lead design sessions, and oversee the successful delivery of transformative projects.



Key Responsibilities:

 

- Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of SAP IBP solutions, focusing on Response and Supply (R&S), Order-Based Planning (OBP), Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, and integrating S/4 HANA processes.  

- Collaborate with process leads, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and define functional specifications for the release cycle.  

- Drive design workshops with executives and collaborate with high-level client personnel to assess and optimize functional areas within supply chain management, improving advanced planning capabilities.  

- Implement rule-based and optimizer solutions within the SAP IBP platform.   

- Provide hands-on configuration and customization for SAP IBP, specifically around supply planning, response and supply processes, and order-based planning functionalities.  

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party systems, supporting the smooth flow of business data and processes.  

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using functional and technical expertise to ensure project success and continued system optimization.  

- Manage post-implementation support and continuous improvement initiatives to adapt to evolving business needs.



Requirements

Key Skills & Experience Required:

 

- 15+ years of experience in SAP IBP/APO, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Response and Supply (R&S) Time series and Order-Based Planning (OBP).  

- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP IBP implementations, including requirement gathering, design workshops, configuration, and deployment.  

- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, including demand planning, supply planning, and order management.  

- Hands-on experience in SAP IBP configuration, with SAP IBP solutions.  

- Strong integration knowledge between SAP IBP and other SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC) and third-party systems.  

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of engaging with executive sponsors and business leaders to deliver impactful solutions.  

- Experience managing large-scale, complex transformation projects using Agile methodologies.  

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

- SAP IBP Certification  

- APICS Certification  

- Experience with global projects and the ability to work in a cross-functional, international team.

 

Educational Requirements:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,
