The SAP Functional Consultant will manage end-to-end data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and collaborating with teams across time zones for project delivery.

KATBOTZ LLC is seeking SAP Functional Consultants with deep expertise in Data Migration to join our global SAP team. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional knowledge in SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, or SCM) with hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration using SAP tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end SAP data migration activities, including planning, mapping, extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
- Work closely with business users and technical teams to define data migration requirements and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Design and validate data templates, field mappings, and data conversion rules.
- Utilize SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, LTMC, or Migration Cockpit for data migration tasks.
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and post-migration validation.
- Provide functional expertise in one or more SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, SCM, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across India and U.S. time zones to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Support UAT, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Functional Consulting (any major module).
- Strong experience in SAP Data Migration using LSMW, LTMC, or SAP Data Services.
- Deep understanding of master data and transactional data structures in SAP.
- Ability to collaborate with both functional and technical teams.
- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Management.
- Experience working in global delivery environments (U.S. & India coordination).
- Prior consulting experience with SAP implementation or upgrade projects.
