Job Description

KIOXIA America is seeking an SAP BI/BODS Engineer to join our IT team. This role focuses on technical tasks within SAP BI reporting and BODS applications, with additional work involving Oracle/SQL Server databases and data warehousing. The position is suited for someone with strong technical skills in a single area, who can work on a variety of moderately scoped projects with general supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SAP BI reports, BODS jobs, and related database programs to support business needs.
  • Apply technical skills in SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and SQL to perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks and create business intelligence reports.
  • Design and test Universes using Business Objects Designer, following established requirements and guidelines.
  • Use SQL and PL/SQL to write queries, views, and stored procedures for Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Support data warehouse operations by developing and optimizing data models and reports.
  • Automate job scheduling and batch processes based on business requirements, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Analyze business processes and existing systems to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals and presenting technical ideas to the IT team.
  • Coordinate with auditors to meet IT audit requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software and databases.
  • Contribute as a team member on projects of moderate scope, occasionally helping to coordinate small project tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree without experience.
  • Proficient in SAP Business Objects, Universe Designer, Data Integration Data Services, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Experience developing BI reports and BODS jobs to support business processes.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and multi-dimensional data models.
  • Ability to analyze, test, install, configure, and troubleshoot software and databases with general supervision.
  • Collaborative team player with good communication skills.
  • Some experience working with Oracle EBS modules (such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, purchasing, and order management) is a plus.

The expected salary for this position is $90,930.00 - $151,540.00.
