Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Expert to execute complex SAP system upgrades and
conversions, The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in SAP Basis, a strong understanding of
SAP architecture, and hands-on experience with SAP system conversions, upgrades, copies and
migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
7+ years of Basis Experience
Plan and execute SAP system upgrades (NetWeaver, EHP, SPS, Kernel) across development,
quality, and production environments.
Lead SAP S/4HANA system conversions from ECC, including pre-checks, simplification item
analysis, and custom code remediation.
Utilize tools such as SUM (Software Update Manager), Maintenance Planner, DMO (Database
Migration Option), and SPAM/SAINT.
Experience in Update, System copies and Client copies
Perform OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, and HANA database upgrades.
Conduct mock conversions, dry runs, and cutover planning for production migrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and readiness for upgrades and
conversions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and post-upgrade/conversion.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of upgrade/conversion procedures and lessons learned.
Stay current with SAP’s roadmap, release strategy, and best practices for upgrades and
conversions.
