The Salesforce Solution Architect leads the strategy, design, and delivery of Salesforce CRM cloud solutions, overseeing architecture, integrations, and analytics while mentoring a team and aligning capabilities with business strategy.
What We're Looking For:
Michael Baker is seeking a senior Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of our Salesforce Cloud platform. This role owns the CRM applications configuration, administration, and architecture across Accounts & Contacts, Lead Management, Opportunity lifecycle, Proposal Management, Account Management, Integrations, Data, Reporting & Analytics, Self-Service capabilities, and Einstein/Agent Force driven automation.
The ideal candidate brings deep CRM Sales Cloud expertise, strong integration experience (Oracle eBS/Fusion Cloud, Deltek, Power BI and more), Marketing cloud experience, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, data driven solutions. Experience in Engineering & Construction (E&C), or other project centric industries is strongly preferred.
What You'll Do:
Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and roadmap for Salesforce CRM/Sales Cloud.
- Design scalable CRM processes across accounts/contacts, leads, opportunities, forecasting, proposal generation, legal review, and key account planning.
- Define data models, security architecture, sharing rules, and governance standards.
Integration Leadership
- Architect integrations with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM & ERP, Oracle PPM, Deltek Vantagepoint, Power BI, and enterprise data platforms.
- Architect GovWin and Outlook/Exchange integrations, pipeline dashboards, and executive analytics.
- Define integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, APIs, middleware) and ensure secure, reliable data flow across CRM, ERP, resource management and project systems. Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) middleware preferred.
Delivery, Governance & DevOps
- Lead multi‑phase Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and releases.
- Establish governance for configuration, development, testing, and documentation.
- Oversee data migration, cleansing, and data quality frameworks.

- Lead and mentor a small team of Salesforce admins, analysts, and developers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Capture, Operations, Finance, and IT to align CRM capabilities with business strategy.
- Support change management and user adoption across the organization.
Analytics, Reporting & AI
- Design & Deliver dashboards, forecasting models, and pipeline analytics.
- Leverage Einstein/Agent Force and predictive analytics to improve lead scoring, win probability, and sales performance.
- Collaborate with BI teams to integrate Salesforce data into Power BI and other enterprise analytics platforms.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 10+ years of Salesforce CRM Cloud including Sales & Proposal Management, experience, including architecture and solution design.
- Proven experience in enterprise CRM implementations, multi‑system integrations, applications support and automation.
- Strong expertise in Accounts/Contacts, Lead Management, Opportunity Lifecycle, and Sales processes. Experience in solutioning, implementing and supporting other Salesforce applications would be preferred.
- Hands‑on experience integrating Salesforce with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, Deltek Vantagepoint, GovWin, and other third-party systems.
- Experience with Outlook/Exchange integration, analytics, data governance, and release management.
- Ability to guide development teams and enforce architectural best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in E&C or project-based industries.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications in Salesforce Applications/Technology.
- Experience in Marketing Cloud applications.
Compensation:
The approximate compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
