We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Configurator with 6+ years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a highly skilled configurator who can serve as a key technical leader on projects. As a Senior Configurator, you will act as a subject matter expert and mentor, guiding the project team and client through the full project lifecycle, from discovery through deployment.

What You'll Do:

    • Understand business goals and support discovery sessions.
    • Collaborate closely with the Business Analyst or Product Owner to refine and prioritize user stories and features, providing technical insights to ensure they are achievable.
    • Analyze complex, holistic business processes and break them down into smaller, manageable, and actionable requirements.
    • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for declarative capabilities, including advanced Flow and other platform functionality.
    • Champion solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and reduce technical debt, showcasing an architectural mindset.
    • Lead configuration efforts, setting the team up for success by championing best practices and naming conventions.
    • Collaborate with the development team to define the interaction between declarative configurations and custom code.
    • Mentor and guide junior configurators, resolving blockers and serving as a technical escalation point.
    • Actively prepare for and lead client discussions, offering strategic technical recommendations with a focus on business value.
    • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
    • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.

What You'll Bring:

    • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce.com.
    • 5+ years of systems consulting experience.
    • Strong understanding of key business processes such as Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
    • Expert Salesforce configurator.
    • Ability to work within a team environment, supported by strong communication skills.
    • Well-organized, results-driven, and eager to solve difficult problems.
    • Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation/facilitation, and written communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel for team events as needed.
    • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
    • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI and automation, in alignment with firm policies and client standards.

Qualifications:

    • Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is preferred.

CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $85,000 - $150,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
