Organizations, large and small, depend on us to accurately publicize market-moving news and multimedia, and generate social engagements that develop interactions with their target audiences.

About the Role
Business Wire is seeking a Salesforce Revenue Cloud Architect to lead the design, evolution, and governance of our Salesforce-based revenue platform.

This role will own the architecture and configuration strategy across Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ, product catalog design, pricing models, and contract lifecycle management, ensuring our systems support scalable quoting, billing, and revenue operations.

The architect will partner closely with Sales Operations, Engineering, and Business Leadership to translate requirements into sustainable platform architecture and to continuously improve our lead-to-cash processes.

In the near term, this role will help guide the completion and stabilization of an ongoing Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementation initiative.

What You'll Do

  • Own the overall architecture for Salesforce Revenue Cloud, including CPQ, quoting, contracts, amendments, and billing structures.
  • Lead the design and governance of the Salesforce product catalog, including product hierarchy, bundles, add-ons, and pricing structures that support complex customer offerings.
  • Define and maintain scalable pricing and quoting frameworks within Salesforce CPQ / Revenue Cloud, supporting both standardized and configurable customer solutions.
  • Architect the end-to-end contract lifecycle in Salesforce, including quoting, approvals, contract generation, amendments, renewals, and billing alignment.
  • Partner with Billing, Engineering, and Operations teams to align Salesforce workflows with downstream financial and operational systems, ensuring scalable and reliable end-to-end processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Support the stabilization and continued evolution of the Salesforce Revenue Cloud platform, including reviewing existing configurations, refining architecture, and ensuring long-term maintainability.

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years Salesforce experience.
  • 3+ years implementing Salesforce Revenue Cloud / CPQ.
  • Proven ability to design scalable product catalog and pricing strategies including tiered pricing, bundles and nested bundles, discounting strategies, and subscription/renewal automation.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management and amendments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture and platform design.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce System Architect and/or Salesforce Application Architect is a plus.
  • Business Wire will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

    What We Offer
  • The base salary range for this position is $170K - $180K/year.  Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.  Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
  •
    Business Wire’s total rewards include:
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Excellent health benefits that begin on your first day of employment
  • $100 monthly fitness allotment, a tuition reimbursement program, and enhanced mental health resources
  • 401(k) plan with generous company match, and annual profit sharing contribution (subject to company performance)
  • PTO, Floating Holidays, Wellness Day Off, Birthday Day Off, and more!

A pre-employment background check will be required after the acceptance of an offer. Business Wire is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
