About the Role
Attentive is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to join our growing Business Systems team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize our processes within the SalesForce ecosystem. You will work closely with business system analysts, senior developers and business stakeholders to customize and optimize our Salesforce platform while also contributing to broader application development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical architecture and business partnership, has experience working in fast-growth environments, and enjoys building systems that scale with the business.
What You'll Accomplish
- Design and implement customized solutions within Salesforce using a combination of declarative tools (Flows, Screen Flows, and process automation) and custom development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce Pages)
- Support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications, ensuring data consistency and smooth system interactions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to design solutions and deliver technical implementations that align with business objectives
- Participate in Salesforce release management and deployment processes, including Sandboxes, Change Sets, and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues, ensuring system stability and optimal performance
- Assist with data management, including imports, exports, deduplication, and maintaining data quality standards
- Document configurations, processes, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and maintainability
- Stay up to date on Salesforce best practices, new features, and platform enhancements, proactively recommending improvements
Your Expertise
- Must have SalesForce Certified Platform Developer and Platform Developer II certifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience in administration and development
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ and basic platform architecture
- Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lighting Web Components, Lightning Components, and SOQL queries
- Strong configuration skills: Flows, Screen flows, approval processes, and reports/dashboards
- Knowledge of data management, integrations, and system security best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to translate technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders
- Background in Agile development using JIRA or similar tools
Nice to Haves
- Experience with supporting integrations via Boomi between SalesForce and other business systems (for example NetSuite)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II
