The Salesforce Developer will enhance and maintain Salesforce applications, support integrations, and ensure optimal performance while collaborating across teams.
About Our Company:
At Patch My PC, we exist to improve lives. What started as a free tool to keep apps updated has grown into a trusted enterprise solution that helps IT and Security teams automate, manage, deploy, and report on third-party updates in Microsoft ConfigMgr, Intune, and WSUS. Our fully remote crew of 150 GIF-loving humans supports over 9,000 customers and more than 26 million devices. We make patching easier, boost security, and give IT teams their time back.
Our core values guide how we work, how we treat each other, and how we grow. They keep us focused on what matters most. We're here to improve the lives of our customers, our team members, and our communities.
About this Role:
We’re looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our small but mighty team at a pivotal moment—right after the launch of our brand-new Salesforce instance. As a rapidly growing company, we’re building the foundation for scalable, efficient, and customer-centric operations. Your work will directly impact how we evolve and elevate our CRM platform to support the next phase of our growth.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of technical design, development, and ongoing enhancements across both Sales and Service Cloud. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to turn business needs into elegant, reliable, and performant Salesforce solutions. Our culture values delivering excellence, which means writing clean, scalable code, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring a seamless user experience for every team that relies on Salesforce.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of our Salesforce ecosystem from architecture to governance while working in a collaborative environment that rewards initiative, agility, and craftsmanship.
If you’re passionate about building high-impact systems that scale with the business and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement, we’d love to meet you.

- Translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions and participate in Agile planning and estimation.
- Optimize and maintain the Salesforce environment through performance tuning, cleanup, and enhancement work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for features, configurations, and deployments.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases and best practices, contributing to team knowledge-sharing.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, etc.).
- Expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling and custom application development.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integrations with third-party systems (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, etc.).
- Previous experience working as a Salesforce Administrator with a solid understanding of admin fundamentals (configuration, automation, security, and data management).
- Familiarity with Salesforce deployment processes (change sets, Salesforce CLI, etc.).
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments.
Desired Skills:
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II.
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a Salesforce environment.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
