The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce development skills with a keen interest in understanding business processes and delivering impactful solutions.

This role will play a critical part in launching and supporting our new Salesforce Platform, Data Cloud, and Agentforce capabilities, enabling productivity improvements and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware/iPaaS, and custom web services.

  • Evaluate and implement Salesforce AI capabilities such as Agentforce, Flow Orchestration, and Next Best Action.

  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to automate lead management, campaign tracking, and analytics.

  • Build predictive workflows and ML-supported automations to improve user efficiency.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Support, and Business Operations to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Work closely with Salesforce Admins on configuration, security, and org-wide changes.

  • Support data model design, data integrity, and complex data migrations.

  • Maintain platform security best practices, including user permissions and field-level security.

  • Apply sound judgment on trade-offs with technology and feasibility to deliver solutions aligned with project constraints.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices to junior developers and administrators.

  • Manage the Salesforce release cycle; test, validate, and deploy changes using CI/CD practices.

  • Perform regular system health checks and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in complex environments.

  • Proven expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flow Builder, and API integration.

  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and governor limits.

  • Background working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce deployment automation frameworks.

  • One or more current Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Advanced Administrator) preferred.

  • Collaborative team player with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
