Duties & Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Developer will play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing custom solutions on our highly customized Salesforce Sales Cloud platform. This role requires a strong technical foundation and a proactive mindset to deliver scalable solutions that support Lincoln’s evolving business needs. Based in our Mumbai office, the Salesforce Developer will collaborate closely with global stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, efficient code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custom Development & Solution Design
- Develop high-quality, scalable code using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and architects to translate business requirements into detailed technical solutions.
- Design and implement custom objects, integrations, triggers, and batch jobs to support business workflows..
- System Integration & Data Management
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, connected apps, and third-party tools.
- Leverage tools like Data Loader and Workbench for bulk data operations and data transformation tasks.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and synchronization across systems.
- Implement security and compliance best practices.
- Platform Optimization & Innovation
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance system performance.
- Stay current on Salesforce platform capabilities and roadmap, recommending strategic enhancements and emerging solutions.
- Collaborate with administrators to optimize the user experience through Lightning UI and declarative functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debugging technical issues
- Testing & Deployment
- Write and maintain unit tests with high code coverage; follow best practices for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, QA testing, and deployment activities to ensure quality and reliability of releases.
Qualifications:
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, LWC’s, and Salesforce APIs
- Experience working with REST/SOAP integrations and external data sources
- Familiarity with Salesforce Developer Experience (DX) best practices
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II a plus
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and development lifecycle management
- Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus, but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across global teams
