As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop, and implement solutions within Salesforce, collaborating with teams to integrate and optimize applications.

The Business Systems team utilizes a variety of enterprise tools and solutions to solve many of Plaid's most important operational issues. In addition to maintaining Plaid’s Salesforce and Zendesk instances, this team is also responsible for many of Plaid’s most business-critical applications and tooling, such as Lead Scoring, PRM, CPQ, Contract Management, and Support Systems. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Salesforce team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated solutions within the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate closely with the business analyst team to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems.
Requirements
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce platform
- Make cognizant decisions on utilizing out-of-the-box automation vs customizations
- Work closely with leaders in the business tech and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions focussed on solving business problems
- Hands-on developing applications utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Triggers, and REST APIs
- Work on VS Code, Github, and CICD processes to maintain code sanity
- Write technical specifications documents, including architecture diagrams, data model diagrams, process flows, and sequence diagrams
- Work on user stories related to ongoing projects, tech-debt, process optimization and performance improvement
- Work closely with the sustaining team and proactively plan on the knowledge transfer processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience leveraging with CPQ Apex programming and Lightning framework
- Experience with at least one full implementation of Salesforce/Steelbrick CPQ, preferred
- 5+ years of experience designing and building applications on the Salesforce platform
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including fluency in SQL
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
- Ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams and influence decision making
- Ability to own Salesforce data integrity
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Master's degree preferred
