The Navy Marine Corps IT Business Area and Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract at Leidos currently has an opening for a Salesforce Developer to support the development and maintenance of Salesforce applications, including leading the development and deployment of a new project using Salesforce. The position will be a remote/telework role in support of a U.S. Navy program, other business opportunities, and corporate initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom applications and features within Salesforce applications.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Salesforce
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate into development actions
  • Design and build Salesforce applications utilizing declarative development tools and automation
  • Create and contribute to technical documentation of the system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during development and day-to-day use
  • Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree in other disciplines)
  • 4-6 years of experience working in Salesforce development
  • U.S Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Mastery of declarative development within Salesforce including Flows
  • Current Platform Developer I certification
  • Experience working with Sales Cloud
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess business needs and translate into Salesforce requirements
  • Ability to research solutions to development issues when the answer is not clear

Preferred Qualifications    

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Experience writing Apex code
  • Current Salesforce Administrator
  • Current Platform App Builder certification
  • Experience working in a Government Cloud environment
  • Prior experience supporting Department of Defense programs

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
