Who we are
We're a leading, global security authority that's disrupting our own category. Our encryption is trusted by the major ecommerce brands, the world's largest companies, the major cloud providers, entire country financial systems, entire internets of things and even down to the little things like surgically embedded pacemakers. We help companies put trust - an abstract idea - to work. That's digital trust for the real world.
Job summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to build and maintain robust, scalable solutions within our Salesforce ecosystem. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Analytics, turning business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. You’ll be part of a team led by the Salesforce Administration & Development Manager, and expected to contribute both deep technical expertise and a mindset of consultancy — asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and helping prioritize the best approach for long-term maintainability.
What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce features, including Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), flows, process builder, validations, etc.
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., Marketing tools, analytics platforms, ticketing tools) via APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.
- Work with Jira (or similar ticketing systems) to pick up user stories / tickets, estimate effort, contribute to sprint planning, and deliver in Agile-style cadences.
- Collaborate with other functional teams (Ops, Analytics, Marketing, Support) to understand business needs, clarify requirements, offer technical recommendations, and help shape priorities.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code; ensure proper test coverage, code reviews, and deployment best practices.
- Maintain and improve existing Salesforce configuration and customizations: monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance.
- Contribute to data quality initiatives, governance, security, and adherence to best practices (including org hygiene, release management, version control, etc.).
- Document solutions, design decisions, and any dependencies in Confluence (or similar) to aid knowledge sharing and support.
What you will have
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience developing on Salesforce (combination of Apex, LWC / Aura, flows, etc.).
- Strong experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, external systems) and data handling in Salesforce.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, etc.) and data model design.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment: gathering requirements, asking clarifying questions, balancing trade-offs.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, tickets, sprint cycles, backlog management.
- Good communication skills: able to explain technical constraints & trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Consulting or client-facing experience.
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Advanced Developer, or higher).
- Experience with GTM stack tools (e.g. Eloqua, LeanData, marketing automation systems).
- Prior work with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar for issue tracking / documentation.
- Familiarity with test-driven development, continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) for Salesforce.
What success looks like
- The Salesforce landscape is stable, with clean configuration and well-architected custom code; incident tickets are reduced, and tech debt is actively managed.
- New feature requests are delivered reliably, with minimal rework, owing to solid requirements gathering and good communication.
- Integrations and automations are reliable, with visible improvements in business workflows (e.g. marketing campaigns, lead routing, customer support escalations, financial workflows).
- Documentation and knowledge sharing are strong; when someone new comes in (or you hand off to another team), context is clear.
- You proactively suggest improvements, not just respond to tickets — e.g. you identify recurring pain points or areas for optimization and propose technical solutions.
Why join us
- You’ll be part of a team that values both technical excellence and business impact.
- Cross-functional collaboration: you’ll work directly with Ops, Analytics, Support, Marketing, etc., not just coding in isolation.
- Opportunity to shape how our Salesforce implementation scales, plays nicely with other GTM tools, and supports growth.
- Culture of learning: investments in certifications, knowledge sharing, best practices.
