Salesforce Business Analyst1

The Salesforce Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and the technical implementation of the Salesforce platform. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, and collaborate with the development team to ensure the successful delivery of solutions on the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, other salesforce products etc.).
 

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.

  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to elicit clear and detailed requirements.

  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
     

Salesforce Solution Design

  • Translate business needs into Salesforce configuration requirements.

  • Partner with Salesforce Admins/Developers to design scalable, robust, and user-friendly solutions.

  • Recommend best practices across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, other salesforce products etc.
     

System Configuration & Support

  • Assist in hands-on configuration where needed (fields, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, permission sets, etc.).

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): create test cases, coordinate testing, validate results.

  • Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot functional issues.
     

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the liaison between business teams and technical teams.

  • Work with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Provide training, onboarding, and documentation for end users.
     

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a CRM/Salesforce environment.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, data models, and security frameworks.

  • Experience writing user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

  • Basic understanding of Salesforce automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Approval Processes).

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Good exposure to Healthcare Industry

  • Nice to have Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst Certification.
