As part of the GRAIL Salesforce team, you will:
Distill the needs and wants from the wide range of GRAIL SFDC stakeholders into coherent, compliant, business requirements that maximize the utility of existing capabilities and maximize the velocity of implementation for any new capability.
Leverage your comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce capabilities, processes and best practices to anticipate and resolve regulatory, system, and schedule constraints as early as possible.
Leverage your deep experience with Agile and SDLC development processes to increase velocity with which the SFDC team builds critical infrastructure that directly impacts GRAIL’s mission: to detect cancer early, when it can be cured.
This role is based in Menlo Park, California, and will move to Sunnyvale, California in Fall 2026. It offers a flexible work arrangement, with the ability to work from GRAIL's office or from home. Our current flexible work arrangement policy requires that a minimum of 60%, or 24 hours, of your total work week be on-site. Your specific schedule, determined in collaboration with your manager, will align with team and business needs and could exceed the 40% requirement for the site. At our Menlo Park campus, Tuesdays and Thursdays are the key days where we encourage on-site presence to engage in events and on-site activities.
Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of the GRAIL SFDC org and development roadmap
- Gail trust of all GRAIL SFDC stakeholders, i.e. Analytics, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Service, Software Development and, importantly, third party integration partners.
- Identify redundant, contradictory, or missing business requirements while identifying the opportunities they present.
- Champion best practice, product excellence, and issue prevention/resolution. ● Write concise product requirements (PRs) and acceptance criteria that minimize process anomalies to codify: no fuzzy code for fuzzy process.
- Confer with SFDC dev on distilled stakeholder requirements to perform capability gap analysis with current state of GRAIL SFDC.
- Confer with both stakeholders and SFDC design team on gap resolution.
- Write concise software requirements (SWRs) that identify key regulatory, technical, and scheduling dependencies both inside and outside the SFDC domain.
- Collaborate with external Engineering, Compliance, and QA teams, to drive new capabilities to deployment on time.
- Provide intuitive, engaging, and easily maintainable content for internal training and business operations, e.g. flow diagrams and video demos.
- Provide intuitive, engaging, technical documentation that enables BOTH regulatory and GRAIL support staff to quickly understand why, what, and how implementations were built and should be run.
- Do what it takes to maximize the velocity of the SFDC dev team to implement solutions that are: Performant, Compliant, Scalable and Extensible

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in analysis role with experience both in evolving existing and launching new features in Salesforce.
- Thorough understanding of both Salesforce and Salesforce Platform.
- Highly skilled in writing technical details in software requirement format to suit implementers, testers, auditors, and stakeholders equally while articulating these to human beings.
- Experienced with anticipating and managing regulatory risks.
- Proficient with Agile patterns and ceremonies, particularly those common in JIRA and Confluence.
- Deft at aligning interests and streamlining processes.

The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $2169-224k. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location.
This role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including an annual bonus and/or incentives, subject to the terms of the applicable plans and Company discretion. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. Employees in this role are also eligible for GRAIL’s comprehensive and competitive benefits package, offered in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
