Job Summary

AllCloud is seeking an Services Account Executive to support the sale of professional services associated with the Salesforce platform. In this role, you will generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, and you will partner closely with senior Account Executives to help develop and grow existing client accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career sales professional to build a foundation in consultative, solution-based selling within a fast-growing cloud services practice, while receiving direct mentorship from experienced enterprise sellers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Growth:

  • Strategic Account Support: Support the growth of key strategic accounts — building relationships with business stakeholders, contributing to long-term Salesforce roadmaps, and helping identify Statements of Work for professional services and managed services engagements.
  • Account Roadmaps: Learn to build and extend multi-year Salesforce roadmaps that incorporate new Clouds, and help surface cross-sell opportunities for the AWS and Data & AI (Platforms) team.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Prepare and, over time, independently deliver QBRs — owning the agenda, deck, pre-read, and follow-up.
  • Executive Alignment Calls: Help set up and run recurring executive alignment calls, working closely with Project Managers and delivery leadership.

Sales Development & Pipeline:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Generate net-new pipeline through LinkedIn social selling, Salesforce channel introductions, industry events, and targeted outreach.
  • Deal & SOW Support: Learn AllCloud's scoping and SOW process end-to-end — helping to scope, price, and advance deals under mentorship, with the goal of doing so independently.
  • Whitespace & Expansion: Identify expansion opportunities within the existing account base and build whitespace analyses for key accounts.
  • CRM Hygiene: Keep Salesforce accurate and current — opportunities, contacts, pipeline, and forecasts updated weekly.

Channel, Delivery & Thought Leadership

  • Salesforce Channel Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with Salesforce Account Directors, communicate account updates, and help identify co-sell and whitespace opportunities.
  • Delivery Coordination: Work effectively with Project Managers and Solution Architects to manage account health, prepare for executive reviews, and navigate delivery escalations.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop points of view relevant to target verticals, contribute to blog posts, LinkedIn content, and case studies, and represent AllCloud credibly at ecosystem events.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of entry-level professional experience, internships, or a background in basic sales, client support, or lead generation.
  • Proven ability to assist senior Account Executives with research, client presentations, and managing smaller accounts.

Core Skills

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to pitch services and engage with clients.
  • Platform Knowledge: Understanding of the Salesforce platform's capabilities, with some experience positioning Salesforce solutions to solve business challenges across sales, service, and marketing.
  • Organization: Strong time-management skills to track client meetings, follow-ups, and sales pipelines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A customer-oriented, proactive, and resilient personality.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
