As the VP, Sales at Collab, your knowledge of YouTube media and online video sales will inform how Collab’s media offering grows and takes shape. Your superpowers are recruiting and team building, accountability and discipline, and a big network of great AE’s, AM’s and clients who love to work and play with you. Your knowledge and understanding of YouTube, FB, SNAP (and others) and the greater OLV ecosystem will be indispensable in helping us package and price our offering in a market that is hungry for a premium, brand-safe and scaled video product. You embody Collab’s core values, and can build and lead a team that does the same. You’re happy to be a player-coach as we grow, and know how to share your relationships with the team when the time is right.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop a portfolio of prospects, targets and new customers for Collab
  • Hire and manage a growing team of media sales pros who know how to CRUSH their goals and have fun while doing it
  • Walk the walk and talk the talk: be out in the field all the time, shaking hands, kissing babies and asking for the order
  • Help us develop our vertical expertise and inform the growth of our inventory footprint
  • Drive big deals across holding company partners
  • Deliver stellar presentations which clearly communicate marketing strategy and paid media campaign ideas
  • Stay on top of industry trends, events, new technologies, unique opportunities, and platform innovations
  • Partner with the Branded Content activation team to land bigger deals and upsell distribution packages

What You'll Have:

  • 10 years prior experience selling YouTube, Network TV or similar products
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage a high-performance team
  • Track record of exceeding personal and team revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of video analytics, YouTube analytics, etc
  • IAB digital media sales training
  • Google AdWords certification
  • Highly skilled use of Excel, Powerpoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Undergrad degree that supports your career path or at least tells a good story
