Job Description:

 

We are looking for a driven sales professional to lead our revenue and business development efforts with brand, league, and team partnerships.  This is a key hire and the ideal candidate will have experience in corporate sponsorship, media strategy, and/or partnership marketing.  S/He will be responsible for driving 15SOF revenue both brand direct and through our partners.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with executive team to grow portfolio of accounts, strengthen partner relations, and effectively convey the value of 15SOF to new and existing league, team, and brand partners
  • Manage new and existing partner accounts to deliver high impact and revenue generating executions
  • Partner with department business leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Build and maintain pipeline of prospective clients and key industry partners
  • Design custom packages and turnkey solutions for brands that showcases 15SOF’s platform
  • Establish reporting, analytics, and insights framework
  • Keep abreast of the rapidly changing partnerships landscape and provide recommendations to senior management accordingly

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

 

  • 5-7 years of experience with Sports team/league, marketing SAAS, and/or Sports media in business development, sponsorship or sales
  • Experience in establishing and managing strategic partnerships with superior negotiation skills and a track record of building mutually beneficial financial relationships
  • Strong relationships with Teams, Leagues, and Agencies
  • Progressive leadership roles or management experience
  • Strong project and account management skills with ability to drive planning, schedules, estimates, budgeting, resource plans and status reports
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple event streams
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, creatively demanding work environment
  • Working understanding of social media analytics and insights tools
