Role Overview
InStride is currently seeking a highly motivated and upbeat Success Manager to join our Academic Partnerships team. With mentorship from the Director, Academic Network, but with significant autonomy, this individual will be responsible for developing academic partner growth strategy, leading all aspects of new partner onboarding, delivering on annual targets and retention objectives, qualifying upsell opportunities and improving overall client satisfaction. The position reports to the Director, Academic Network.
Responsibilities
- Be a trusted consultant to academic partners in the InStride Academic Network, working closely with internal and external partners to drive enrollment, insight, and value
- Launch, handle and grow academic network relationships
- Maintain a cadence of regular syncs with portfolio of academic partners and Learner Success, Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams at InStride
- Drive regular reviews with executive sponsors and key partners to evaluate success
- Analyze and communicate key data points to develop and execute against goals internally and with academic partners
- In partnership with internal teams, support detailed and time-sensitive processes for academic partner program integrations/data exchange within InStride platform.
- Execute and collaborate in a focused, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree AND four (4) years of ed tech customer success, marketing, sales or consulting experience; OR Master’s degree AND three (3) years meaningful experience
- Comfortable and seasoned in handling external stakeholders, particularly in higher education contexts, and providing outstanding guidance and support
- Have managed a portfolio of college/university clients and driven growth within those accounts
- Able to work with all levels of individuals all the way up to President/Chancellor with demonstrated experience supporting high profile clients
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed and efficient organizer who also has the ability to think and plan strategically
- A self-motivated problem solver with a strong work ethic and high energy level
- Willing to travel as needed (up to 30%)
