The Position
An individual who possess both a strong background in developing partnerships with top Retail and Online channels and experience in the IoT or consumer electronics industries. You have a proven record and have the ability to structure and execute complex strategic partnerships that create significant value for the company, its partners and supporting stakeholders. You are driven and inspired by the opportunity to reimagine and reinvent channel structures to advance Inspire to be the channel partner of choice in IoTs space. Motivated by and capable of achieving aggressive growth targets. You know you play a critical part of everyone’s success, and are committed to the belief that we are stronger when we all collaborate as team players.
Responsibilities
- Identify new strategic partnership and channel opportunities in the IoTs and clean tech industries
- Build and develop relationships with senior leaders at prospective partners and create allies in order to create opportunities to win new channel agreements
- Lead the strategic pitch development with a cross-functional internal team
- Structure, negotiate and close partnerships in order to meet or exceed growth objectives for the business
- Work with various teams including Marketing, Finance and Legal to successfully coordinate details related closing new channel partnerships
Qualifications
- Passionate about technology and its ability to have a meaningful impact on the world
- Extensive experience formulating a business development vision, strategy and execution plan
- Capable of understanding complex partnerships economics, with the acumen and expertise to drive success for all parties to create lasting business partnerships
- 8 -10+ years in working with top Retailers, Online Channels; ideally in the IoT or the consumer electronics industry. Experience with Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Costco or similar channel partners a plus
- Proven track record of consistently meeting objectives and exceeding performance targets
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with business development leaders and executives. Able to tell a story, and command an audience.
- Strong detail and process orientation, can effectivity develop and manage business development pipeline
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business or marketing preferred, MBA a plus
