DeepCurrent is a Los Angeles based technology organization focused on solving one of the most expensive and inefficient processes amongst modern enterprises: manual data entry.

We have created a patented technology that disrupts a key component of the digital automation space, changing the way companies will capture key information from invoices and other structured documents.

DeepCurrent is looking for a first Solutions Engineer to partner with our VP of Growth to create a world class Sales Engineering team at our young and fast moving company.  

The ideal candidate need not be an experienced Solutions Engineer - Software Engineers with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.

This position is full-time and is based in our Los Angeles, California office.

Responsibilities:

• Discuss and evangelize the details of DeepCurrent’s technology, in addition to topics concerning: Deployment, Data Science, Security, and others.
• Partner with Sales to drive opportunities, and close deals for DeepCurrent.
• Assess the marketplace regarding DeepCurrent’s product-market fit and competitor advantages and weaknesses
• Serve as a communication conduit between customers and DeepCurrent Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams, representing the interests of each to the other.
• Present to large audiences on the value and technology of the DeepCurrent solution
• Create blog posts, product documentation, how-to videos, and customer facing content
• Challenge yourself in new areas you haven’t worked before, learn while doing, make yourself the expert
• Lead on premise deployments of DeepCurrent's Intelligent Data Capture solution   
• Partner with customers for software configuration and operations

Minimum Qualifications:

• You are a polyglot with 2+ years experience building production APIs and services at scale  
• You have experience with relational and non-relational databases 
• You are knowledgeable of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and software design principles 
• You have experience deploying linux server environments 
• You have operated distributed systems that utilize schedulers and service discovery, and have worked with containerized applications
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude, team oriented, self-starter who can work independently as well as in a collaborative manner to achieve team goals

Bonus:

• You have experience with Golang, C++ or Rust
• You have an understanding of Machine Learning strategies and concepts 
• You have a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• You have experience orchestrating VPS solutions (AWS, GCE, etc)
• You have contributed to open source
