Sales Support Specialist

Boingo is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to assist with managing our neutral host projects. Do you have a passion for details? Love to be organized? Always on the lookout for ways to be helpful? In this role you will assist the Sales team with supporting the project portfolio, implementing processes, creating reports for executive visibility, and organizing cross-functional paths to drive contract execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support, and assistance to sales team
• Align senior business executives and sales managers around a clear list of sales priorities
• Create, prepare and own the reporting and dashboards for the sales organization
• Recognize, develop and implement process improvements within the Sales team
• Facilitate ad hoc meetings to track dependencies to execute on Sales Pipeline against Forecast
• Prioritize internal cross-functional tasks for the respective teams against Forecast
• Support sales leadership on short-term and long-term projects including execution of sales contracts, resourcing and organizational design
• Work cross-functionally with business development, accounting, finance, engineering and operations, through network build-out/project closeout/project life-cycle. Provide follow-up as needed

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years' experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (must be proficient in V-Lookups and Pivot Tables)
• The ideal candidate must be organized, mindful of the details, and a problem-solver
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple, competing priorities
• Ability to learn new tools
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Diplomacy, tact and relationship building skills
• Successful transition of the project to production support
• Candidate is comfortable working in rapid growth environment as a self-starter, continuously looking for ways to improve process and reduce costs.
• BS Degree

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, Wiki and Jira 
• Experience in the telecommunications / Internet industry
