Sales Intern (Fall)
The Sales Intern will be exposed to growing sales and marketing teams and will assist the VC-backed technology startup in their efforts to obtain new clients for our SaaS accounting solution. We are looking for motivated juniors and seniors in college who are determined to succeed and are passionate and curious. Our internship program is expected to last 8-10 weeks (Fall). During this internship you will have the opportunity to work side by side with many members of the FQ team by being a part of our mentorship program.
This is a paid position with emphasis on providing professional development and career mentorship. May lead to full-time opportunities within the Company.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop an effective level of understanding of the problems our clients face and the way FloQast helps solve them
Utilize all available means including internet sources, social media, and more to create robust and effective prospecting lists
Note taking and minutes for group meetings
Helping prepare training manuals and other resource documents as needed for the BDR Team
Support and shadow day-to-day Business Development and Marketing operations
Data entry, cleansing, and utilization in our systems such as Salesforce.com and Outreach.io
Discovering valuable prospects for our company using our G2 Crowd Subscription
Assist marketing in routing leads to correct sales reps, cleaning lists, calling down event registrants lists, and other projects
Special projects as requested
Desired Qualities and Skills:
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
Proficient in MS Office and G Suite
Ability to work flexible hours and must be able to commute to office location
Demonstrate ability and desire to learn new concepts
Eager to be coached
Commitment to self-improvement and success

Ability to remain organized and execute in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
