The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will report to the EVP Sales and will be responsible for the qualification process of leads for a growing sales force in the Americas. The individual should be motivated, proactive and have honed research and outreach skills to help secure new clients. Instrumental in securing meetings for acquisition of new clients. The SDR will also provide outreach support to the account management, sales, and marketing team by mining for new contacts, interviews/surveys and research to help build the corporate database.

How you will contribute: 

  • Generate target lists of individuals based on requirements of EVP Sales from LinkedIn/Sales Navigator and other sources, identifying contact information, updating Salesforce records to reflect information
  • Set up and manage out bound lead generation campaigns to target accounts. These may be email based (using Yesware and other tools) or may involve direct phone outreach to generate leads for the Americas sales team
  • In addition to outbound reach you will help manage qualify inbound leads and engage appropriate team members to move lead through the sales pipeline.
  • In conjunction with EVP Sales and SVP Sales Operations ensure that Salesforce is up to date with information on target and existing accounts and accurately reflects the current status of open opportunities
  • Update/modify specific sales presentations and other materials under direction of sales leads to support sales process
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Preferred:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of demonstrably successful business development experience with strong oral, communication and outreach skills
  • Understanding of the marketing and sales process from a lead to a prospect.
  • Proficiency in a CRM system such as Salesforce.com and Yesware
  • Proficient in the use of LinkedIn and other lead/data sourcing sites
  • Proficient in speaking Spanish or Portuguese is a plus for Latin America accounts.
  • Knowledge of entertainment industry a plus but not required
