SUMMARY
WELL’s Sales Development team is the foundation of our sales engine and the reason for WELL’s incredible growth over the past few years. We are looking for a talented people manager to lead this team. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager, you will lead the Mid-Market team and be responsible for the development, refinement, and growth of WELL’s outbound sales lead generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will lead the Mid-Market Sales Development Representative team and be responsible for them meeting and exceeding aggressive pipeline OKRs. This includes setting the SDRs up for successful appointments for Account Executives. You will be responsible for the following four areas:
- Improving Process. A well-oiled sales process is critical to enabling the success of the SDR team. You will be proficient in the art and science of selling - ensuring process is followed and technology is leveraged to its fullest.
- Coaching & Mentoring. You will push top performers and lift under-performers. The team is at its best when all reps are progressing and performing. Motivate and mentor each team member with weekly 1:1s, call coaching, contests, deep dives, etc.
- Fostering Culture. WELL’s sales culture is built on a foundation of collaboration and continual learning. Progressing personally and professionally is just as important as being at the top of the leaderboard. You will serve as a cultural ambassador, helping to foster and evolve our culture as the team scales.
- Hiring & Scaling. Building and scaling a world class team is one of your top responsibilities. Develop a rich candidate funnel into future top performing SDRs. Hiring top talent is only the first step: you will also design and deploy onboarding and training to ensure a fast ramping time and set new hires up for success.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years sales experience, preferably in SaaS and/or Healthcare
- 1+ years in management/leadership experience
- Passionate about rep development and being a people coach
- Proficient in sales tech stacks - Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar tools
- Expertise in sales process, reporting, forecasting, territory management, etc.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across functions
- Grace under fire - ability to make critical decisions and effectively problem solve in a dynamic environment
LOCATION
WELL is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA. Today, all WELL positions are remote, and we are looking forward to when our company returns to in-office work. The majority of our company works out of our headquarters full-time. We are looking for candidates that currently reside, or would be open to relocating to Santa Barbara once WELL resumes in-office work, and would be willing to work out of our headquarters full-time.
