As a Sales Consultant at SURE, you'll be on on the front lines interacting with new and existing customers who are interested in our insurance products. You'll communicate with customers via phone, email, text, and chat with the main objective of ensuring that customers who are interested in our insurance products, purchase the products. All leads are warm and you will only be working with inbound leads. Converting prospective customers into sales and providing incredible customer service is the name of the game.
This is a great entry-level sales role and a unique opportunity to be an early member of our growing team. We have a casual and welcoming work environment in the heart of Santa Monica. This role helps build a strong foundation for future sales success and is essential to the success of our VC-backed startup.
Successful Sales Consultants at SURE will be:
- The first point of contact for prospective clients
- Excited to help a ton of people get the insurance they need
- Motivated to achieve sales targets and respond to a high-volume of inbound leads daily
- Willing to learn and master the ins and outs of our different variety of insurance products
- Customer service oriented and strive to ensure everyone has an amazing experience
- Eager to try new strategies to best serve customers
- Analytical with ability to identify trends and help create new customer outreach processes
- Self motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Passionate to grow within the company and a strong desire for a successful career in insurtech sales
Requirements:
- Four Year College Degree
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to be part of a company changing an industry
- Willingness to get a Property and Casualty Insurance License (SURE will sponsor the class and exam for those who do not currently hold a valid P&C license!)
- Ability to work full-time in our Santa Monica office
