Sales and Marketing Operations Administrator
The Sales & Marketing Operations Administrator helps efficiently deliver the information required to drive sales performance, predictability, and efficiency. These depend on the consistent execution of our sales methodology, processes, tools, and procedures coupled with continuous improvement in reporting, analytics, forecasting and performance metrics. Additionally, this role will work closely with the marketing team to manage the integration between Salesforce, Pardot and Outreach. Individual will additionally assist with the implementation of marketing funnel metrics and reporting, optimizing pipeline management, and improving data integrity/lead enrichment.
The responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Operations Administrator include ownership of the sales process: it’s implementation, compliance governance, and execution in SalesForce.com and lead acquisition and management. The Sales & Marketing Operations Administrator is chartered with identifying opportunities for the sales process, sales technology, and lead DB improvements.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Sales & Marketing Management teams to identify areas for strategic improvement in the sales and marketing process and methodology and in the technology stack
Own sales reporting and analysis of all aspects of Sales operations including pipeline, performance metrics, trends, forecasting and opportunities at the team
Work with Marketing and Finance colleagues to purchase quality lead lists and manage to effective CPL and conversion to sale
Develop critical reports and dashboards that provide insights and actionable data to aid sales and marketing management
Participate in strategic planning including territory planning, compensation plan development, and KPI creation
“Critical thinker” who constantly strives to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Requirements:
> 4 years’ experience with Salesforce, with advanced skills; development experience a plus
> 3 years’ experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or a related field, in a complex and fast-paced environment
Salesforce mastery of complex dashboards & reports, custom report types, calculated fields, workflows
Analytical mindset who can find answers in data prioritizing based on the larger picture, not individual needs
Possess “startup grit;” there are always moving pieces in a startup you have to deal with ambiguity
Experience with sales engagement platforms Outreach.io highly desired; Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua experience an added bonus
Mastery of Excel; Tableau or other BI tool skills a plus
BA/BS degree in economics, science, information systems, or business administration
Prior Accounting background/CPA a big plus.
