Roles & Responsibilities

Dr. Squatch is seeking a dynamic leader to build out a retail sales program. You will work directly with the CEO, other business unit leaders, and external partners to shape our retail sales channel from the ground up.

You’ll help us identify the best opportunities, build relationships, and develop the logistics needed to roll out an effective retail program to supplement our online business.  We’re looking for a highly driven ,analytical person who knows the right questions to ask and has the curiosity and skill set to get the answers. Someone that can also build great relationships and teams. The key responsibilities of the job will include:

  • Overall buildout of retail strategy and prioritization of efforts across different categories to match company goals, including developing a strategy and understanding of various industry players such as brokers, distributors, buyers, etc.

  • Attending key events and tradeshows to build the presence of Dr. Squatch and build relationships with key buyers

  • Developing the necessary sales assets and logistical capabilities to facilitate the retail sales process

  • Cold calling and emailing to build relationships with key buyers

  • Managing the sales pipeline from lead to close to follow up post sale

  • Building the right team to support the overall retail strategy

  • Ability to analyze data to understand trends, successes, and opportunities 

Experience & Characteristics:

  • Previous sales experience in consumer products, food or comparable category

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

  • CPG relationships required

  • Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Strong leadership and team building skills

  • Highly adaptable, driven, and resourceful with ability to excel in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to travel for trade shows, sales calls, and meetings
