Pre-Sales Engineer

As a Pre-Sales Engineer at GoGuardian, you’ll play an integral role in the sale of our SaaS software. Partnering with the sales team you’ll own the technical dimension of the sales cycle. You’ll marry technical expertise, product knowledge and industry insight with your sales acumen to educate the customer on the product and help close deals with GoGuardian’s most strategic, high-profile prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced technical presentations to prospects and customers, remotely and in-person
- Contribute to designing technical solutions to meet our prospects' needs
- Partner with the Sales team to develop presentations, proposals, and ROI models
- Act as a liaison between Product, Sales and Engineering, funneling customer feedback to help shape the product roadmap
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services
Requirements:
- 4+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience with SaaS or highly technical products
- Skilled in leading technical pre-sales discussions and presenting software demos with the ability to adapt both to the technical level of the audience
- Experience supporting multiple account executives and working with small, agile sales teams
- Available to travel 35-50%
- Creative thinker, able to propose custom solutions that will solve clients’ problems
- Passion for education and extra bonus points for Education Technology (EdTech) experience
