Outbound Sales Representative (B2B)

BOXFOX Concierge is an end-to-end gifting solution that delivers custom gifting experiences built to achieve various business goals for corporate teams—at scale. Whether our clients are looking to send 25 or 25,000 gifts, our team designs, produces, and delivers a premium gift, mailer, or tangible marketing offering with true ROI.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a top-notch B2B sales rep to work with amazing brands ranging from Fortune 500s and VC-backed startups to retail and entertainment and help us develop and execute on an effective outbound sales strategy. The Outbound Sales Representative position will give you the opportunity to expand and implement your sales knowledge while working in a fast-paced, startup culture where no two days are the same.

Our ideal candidate is a hungry, ambitious, self-starter looking to build a career in sales and business development, with plenty of room to grow as we grow. 

The Role

This role is a combination of left brain and right brain, marrying relationship building (lead generation), creativity (proposal creation), and follow through (inking the deal).

You will be in charge of identifying new potential BOXFOX Corporate Concierge (B2B) clients and then selling them in on the magic of corporate gifting with strategically timed messaging, proposal development and targeted follow up. You need to be outgoing, personable, have excellent communication skills, be creative and be a master negotiator. You should also act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sale process from beginning to the end.

You should contribute to an increase in BOXFOX’s annual B2B revenue by driving outreach strategy, selling in proactive leads, meeting your monthly quota, and maintaining our company-client relationships to the highest standards—all while living and breathing our commitment to being the go-to for gifting for any reason, any season.

 

Responsibilities
Lead Generation / Sales Execution 

Work directly with the Business Development Manager to align on yearly and quarterly outreach strategies by industry or initiative

Source new sales opportunities within assigned industries through outbound cold calls, emails, personal networks, and professional networking events

Maintain steady pipeline of active / future leads in CRM

Track KPIs (contact & close rate, average order value, retention)

Drive entire sales process: prospecting, proposal generation (meeting ROI / messaging objectives), negotiations, closing and follow up

Become expert on BOXFOX offering and competitive landscape to help showcase why we deliver superior value / ROI

Client Support   

Manage key Corporate accounts and act as the point of contact for clients, resolving problems and handle client issues in a timely manner

Provide professional after-sales support to build loyalty / increase client retention

Upsell current clients for larger, more frequent orders

Internal Support / Operations

Work with Corporate Production team to communicate details of each order, including deadlines, customization selections, and any other order specification, ensuring that every order is packed and shipped to perfection — the BOXFOX way

Create accurate scopes of work (SOWs) and invoices to ensure our clients are signing off on the terms of each order as well as being billed accurately

Communicate with department to share client learnings, adding to knowledge base

 

Expectations

Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota to contribute to overall B2B sales

Monitor leads and progress (sales performance), tracking in CRM software

Maintain professional / technical knowledge by attending events / workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks

 

About You

You enjoy every part of sales — meeting with people, chatting up a storm, and, of course, closing the deal.

Speaking of closing the deal, you’re able to quickly convert a new lead to a signed client and you work hard to keep them engaged on a monthly basis.

You’re a self-starter — we’re there to answer questions and train you, but you’ll be in charge of your success at our growing company.

You handle rejection well (a necessary part of sales) and learn from what you could do differently the next time around.

You’re organized. You will come to the table with your own systems and ways of working that are well thought-out and help track your progress. You’re positive and excited to come to work every day! We truly believe that attitude is everything.

Understanding of MS Office/Apple product suite and Google Suite; experience with CRM software a plus.

Preferably 2-4 years of outside sales experience (eCommerce B2B a plus) with a proven track record of success; B.A. required
