Mid-Market Account Director
Summary
The Mid-Market Account Director is responsible to drive your teams to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through proven leadership, strong business acumen, problem solving and consultative selling skills. The role will focus on expanding the Mid-Market and Market Development Teams to drive revenue and achieve greater market penetration in the Americas region. The position reports to the Director, Americas Mid-Market Sales & Sales Development.
Essential Functions
- Drive and train teams to solution-sell the suite of TeleSign services by mapping business challenges with technology solutions
- Develop and execute new market development programs, aimed at continuous improvement of the SDR teams
- Responsible for the performance of the Americas Mid-Market Sales and Market Development Team
- Guide Mid-Market Sellers and SDR’s on planning, executing, and delivering on sales development email and cold calling campaigns to our bounty list prospects
- Review and analyze performance of the team, create and measure quotas to determine effectiveness
- Responsible for all hiring and staffing requirements in Americas Mid-Market Sales and Market Development teams
- Manage comp plans and quotas alongside VP of Americas Sales and WW Sales Operations
- Organize weekly team meetings to drive program evolution
- Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the market research and business development groups. Through personal example, establish the style and approach which will characterize the way business is being done on daily basis
- Create weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for the upper management
Essential Requirements
- University Degree
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- 5+ years of sales teams management with success exceeding sales targets in a similar business
- Team management skills
- Strong presentation skills using MS PowerPoint and web conferencing
- Strong time management skills – ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Target driven with ability to work independently
- Interest in learning about new communications technologies
- Knowledge of the mobile messaging market
- Knowledge of and relationships with customers in enterprise mobile messaging and mobile marketing a plus
