We’re seeking a highly talented, ambitious, energetic, and member-focused Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team and jump-start their career. You’ll wear many hats and be exposed to facets of member support, sales, marketing, operations, and technology in a fast-growing startup environment. Oh, and you’ll have fun while you’re at it.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Contact existing members who may be ending their service and retain them
- Design and strategize new ways to contact our members using phone, email, and online channels
- Develop an ownership mentality by contributing daily to the overall strategy of the department
- Work closely with your counterparts in our bicoastal office to create a unified office culture
- Crush weekly and monthly sales goals
- Consistently reinforce the Inspire clean power value proposition and mission
- Impact our Sales and Marketing channels by providing insightful member feedback
- Build strong working relations across Member Support, Marketing, Ops, Support, Finance, and IT
- Contribute in short term, interdepartmental rotational projects
What It Takes To Work Here
- 1 year of inbound sales, outbound, or retention experience preferred
- A desire to change the world through clean energy and empowering people
- Ability to retain customers and handling challenging calls with positivity and professionalism
- Understand telephone sales techniques and customer needs
- Thrive in a fast-moving, constantly changing, startup environment
- Growth mindset and a desire to grow personally and professionally
- Detail-oriented with high personal accountability
- Intrinsically motivated individual with high degree of integrity
- BA or BS from college or university preferred
