GrayMeta is growing and is looking for a motivated individual who is eager to join our growing Sales team in Playa Vista, with primary focus on our Iris Solution. This candidate should have an interest in building a career in direct and indirect sales, possess effective communication and strong interpersonal skills. This position requires execution of sales strategies to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets. Equally important is experience helping customers solve the unique business and marketing challenges surrounding digital video industry.

Primary responsibilities and functions include:

  • Continued sales pipeline development through a combination of prospecting, current contacts, channel/partner relationships, and market sector knowledge.
  • Achieving sales quota by managing direct, dealer and system integrator sales.
  • Diligently manage and track opportunities in our SalesForce.com CRM for purposes of forecasting/reporting.
  • Explain product functionality to customers as necessary
  • Create accurate, complete quotes and deliver them to the customer promptly
  • Accurate and timely input to the company CRM; by entering and updating customer information as changes occur

Required skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another related field desired.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer a facing position, preferably technical sales
  • Must possess an energetic “hunter” sales mentality with a strong desire to develop and close new business.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Highly motivated, extremely organized, conversant with technology, team-oriented, creative, and possess strong verbal and written communication and negotiating skills.
  • Abilities to set priorities and understands when to escalate
  • Ability to respond clearly and timely to technical and functionality inquiries from prospects, partners and sales colleagues
  • A proven track record for meeting or exceeding revenue goals within the space is a must.
  • Must possess an energetic “hunter” sales mentality with a strong desire to develop and close new business.

Additional desired Strengths`:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience using Windows Operating Systems
  • Understanding of Digital Video & up-to-date knowledge of digital video platforms.
  • Knowledge of content lifecycle in the digital supply chain is a plus
  • Solid understanding of digital video platforms is a plus
  • Knowledge of Media & Entertainment workflows is a plus
  • Previous Software Sales is a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
