Head of Revenue & Growth

Protecht’s industry leading live event technology and consumer-facing protection products help provide platforms and organizers with control over inventory, additional lines of revenue, and fan engagement through enhancements like an improved checkout flow, bot detection, and upgraded security.

Job Description

As the Head of Revenue & Growth on the Protecht team, your core function will be to manage an existing and growing team of Relationship & Business Development Managers. You have a passion for breeding success within revenue teams and a relevant background in motivating and leading successful individuals to take business to the next level. In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the Protecht Executive Team to build a solid sales foundation for our relationship management team to work within.
  • Coach, mentor, and progress existing talent, while building a new team of successful business development associates.
  • Build organizational structure while identifying & executing upon unique management techniques necessary for a successful sales team.
  • Travel >50% to different client locations, lead meetings to showcase and sell new products as well as existing products updates & features.
  • Maintain strong Relationships with current and future clients.
  • Be a part of Protecht’s global expansion; assisting with various responsibilities related to partner management and growth in Europe.
  • Represent the Protecht Executive Team at different public venues and events through VIP access and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing, coaching, growing and most importantly retaining a successful Sales team.
  • Experience with Business Development specifically targeted towards or within the Live Events industry.
  • Channel Sales experience is required – the ideal candidate will understand the process of selling via our client channels as opposed to direct relationship management
  • Background in navigating and creating sponsorship opportunities with relevant venues and events through key partnerships.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, thinking outside of the box to find innovative solutions to current or forecasted growth obstacles.
  • A keen sense of recognizing strengths and areas of improvement for team members – the ability to play on individual characteristics and help people reach their potential.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interfacing with C-Suite executives both internally and across multiple clients.
  • Proven ability to summarize results and speak concisely to them to an executive team.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating, implementing, and executing effective Learning and Development programs to be used both internally to employees and externally to end clients.
  • Demonstrated success selling software with a deep understanding of the intricacies of growing and maintaining a pipeline of software sales to both Enterprise and SMB clients
  • Experience working for both a large sized company and working for a startup
  • Experience in the live-events industry is a huge plus
