82 Labs is looking for an entrepreneurial sales leader to take Morning Recovery from an ecommerce business into on and off-premise channels. You will build our retail business in the US, and expand it globally. Starting by building initial relationships, this person will work closely with the CEO to build an entry and pacing strategy, and flawlessly execute the plan. Along the way, the Head of Retail will be responsible for building and training his/her team to deliver both our short and long term retail sales targets. In the last four months, Morning Recovery has secured retail distribution across 400 accounts in the States, including Revolve, W Hotel, and UO. We made $175K in revenue from retail. We’re now looking for a proven sales leader to 10x our sales this year.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales/marketing experience in a food & beverage industry; preferably from pioneering beverage brands such as Bai Brands and REBBL
- Experience in building out a national sales-force with proven sales track
- Understanding of beverage distribution chain and previous relationships with distributors and retailers
- Understanding of retail business operations, including pricing, margins, shelf space, DSD, and three-tier distribution
- Willing to travel for meetings and trade shows
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and lead colleagues
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the willingness to do whatever it takes to win
- B.A. in relevant field
